SOC 2 And 3 Audit Certifies That Aventiv Products and Services are Designed to Properly Conduct and Regulate Confidential Information
Aventiv Technologies, a leading provider of technology-enabled solutions for public safety, law enforcement, investigations, corrections and government payment services, today announced that the company, along with its subsidiaries Securus Technologies and AllPaid, has received the SOC 2 and SOC 3 Certifications from an industry-leading security and compliance company verifying that their products are operating securely.
The certification process was completed by A-LIGN, one of the nation’s top cybersecurity companies, and evaluated whether Aventiv’s products and services are confidential, secure, and provide availability controls.
“As a service organization, it was vital for us to achieve this milestone as it will provide our customers and business partners even greater confidence that we are designing and operating securely,” said Melanie Sankaran, Chief Information Security Officer of Aventiv Technologies. “The SOC certification is a seal of approval that our organization has met all expected requirements of managing data and protecting the security and confidentiality of customer information. While we’re proud of the certification, an audit does not make us immune to attacks. We will continue to be diligent with our security protocols and take the right steps to invest and execute protections against all our systems and data.”
Aventiv specially designs its processes and procedures to operate securely inside of the unique correctional environment in which it operates in order to provide incarcerated individuals with modern technology in a way that prioritizes and improves public safety and modernize the incarceration experience.
The audit was conducted during the period of January 1, 2020 to October 31, 2020 for Aventiv Technologies and its subsidiaries Securus Technologies and AllPaid.
